How To Make Peach Pie?

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C)

Prepare a pie crust and place one crust in a 9-inch pie dish

Peel, pit, and slice 6 to 8 peaches

In a bowl, mix peaches with 3/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and a pinch of salt

Pour the peach filling into the crust

Dot the filling with 2 tablespoons butter

Cover with a second crust or make a lattice top

Cut slits in the top crust if using a full crust

Brush the top with milk or beaten egg

Sprinkle with sugar if desired

Bake for 20 minutes

Reduce oven temperature to 375°F (190°C)

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes more until the crust is golden and filling is bubbling

Cool for at least 2 hours before slicing
