12 oz white chocolate, chopped
8 oz semisweet or dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Melt the dark chocolate until smooth
Stir in 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
Spread the dark chocolate in an even layer on the parchment
Chill until set, about 15 minutes
Melt the white chocolate until smooth
Stir in the remaining 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
Spread the white chocolate over the set dark chocolate
Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies evenly over the top
Gently press the candy into the chocolate
Chill until fully firm
Break into pieces and serve
