How To Make Salmon On The Stove?

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels

Season both sides with salt and pepper

Heat a skillet over medium heat

Add oil or butter to the skillet

Place the salmon skin-side down if it has skin

Cook without moving for 4 to 6 minutes

Flip the salmon carefully

Cook the other side for 2 to 4 minutes

Check that the salmon is opaque and flakes easily

Remove from the skillet

Serve immediately
