Use fine whole wheat flour
Add a little salt if desired
Add warm water gradually
Knead into a soft, smooth dough
Add a little oil or ghee while kneading
Cover the dough and rest it for 20 to 30 minutes
Divide the dough into equal portions
Roll each portion evenly with light flour
Keep the roti thin and uniform
Heat the tawa properly before cooking
Cook the roti on medium-high heat
Flip when small bubbles appear
Cook the second side and press gently
Remove and apply ghee if desired
Keep cooked rotis covered in a clean cloth
Serve immediately or store in a covered container
