How to Measure Soil pH?

Stir the mixture well

Test the soil using a pH meter, pH test strips, or a soil test kit

Calibrate the pH meter before use if applicable

Insert the pH probe into the soil slurry if using a meter

Compare the color of test strips or kit solution to the provided chart if using strips or a kit

Record the pH reading

Repeat the test with additional samples for accuracy
