Add 1 tablespoon of water
Pierce the yolk with a fork or knife
Cover the mug or bowl loosely with a microwave-safe plate or paper towel
Microwave on medium power for 30 seconds
Check the egg
Microwave in 10-second intervals until cooked to your liking
Let it sit for 30 seconds before eating
Season as desired
