Wash your hands and clean the mouth guard
Boil water according to the product instructions
Remove the water from heat
Submerge the mouth guard in the hot water for the recommended time
Use tongs to remove the mouth guard
Let it cool briefly until safe to handle
Place the mouth guard in your mouth
Bite down gently to shape it
Press it against your teeth and gums with your fingers and tongue
Hold it in place until it sets
Remove it and place it in cold water
Check the fit
Repeat the molding process if needed
Trim any excess material if allowed by the instructions
Rinse and store it in a clean case
