Open the WhatsApp video call
Tap the microphone icon to mute your audio
If the microphone icon is not visible, swipe or tap the call controls to show them
To mute your phone notifications during the call, use your device’s silent or Do Not Disturb mode
To mute the other person, turn down your device volume or switch off speaker mode
