Place your back foot on the tail
Place your front foot near the middle of the board
Bend your knees
Pop the tail down hard with your back foot
Jump upward as the tail hits the ground
Slide your front foot up toward the nose
Keep your knees tucked while the board rises
Level the board in the air
Land with both feet over the bolts
Bend your knees to absorb the landing
Practice rolling slowly first
Repeat until the motion feels smooth
