Roll at a moderate, steady speed
Place your back foot on the tail
Put your front foot near the middle of the board
Bend your knees
Shift your weight slightly toward the back foot
Gently press down on the tail to lift the front wheels
Keep your front foot relaxed and centered
Use your arms for balance
Look ahead, not down
Make small balance adjustments with your hips and shoulders
Keep the front wheels just off the ground
Hold the position as long as you can
To stop, lean forward slightly and lower the front wheels
Practice on smooth, flat ground
Start with short manuals and build up gradually
