Turn on your PS4
Connect the PS4 controller to the console with a USB cable
Press the PS button on the controller
Wait for the light bar to turn on
Disconnect the USB cable if you want to use it wirelessly
To pair with a PC or mobile device, turn on Bluetooth on the device
Put the controller into pairing mode by holding the PS button and Share button until the light bar flashes
Open Bluetooth settings on the device
Select Wireless Controller from the list of available devices
Confirm pairing if prompted
