Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil
Clear weeds, rocks, and debris from the planting area
Dig a hole twice as wide and as deep as the root ball
Mix compost or well-rotted manure into the removed soil
Place the banana plant in the hole at the same depth it was growing before
Fill the hole with soil and gently firm it around the plant
Water thoroughly after planting

Space multiple banana plants far enough apart for growth
