Use a double-nine, double-twelve, or double-fifteen domino set, depending on the number of players
Place all dominoes face down and shuffle them
Each player draws the required number of dominoes
Find the highest double in the game set
Play that highest double first in the center as the starter
Build three branches from the starter double
On each turn, match one end of a domino to an open end with the same number of pips
If you play a double, place it crosswise and open a new branch from it
A double must be completed before play continues on other branches from it
If you cannot play, draw one domino from the boneyard
If you still cannot play, pass
Continue until one player uses all their dominoes or no one can play
Score by adding the pips left in each player’s hand at the end of the round
The player with the lowest total score after all rounds wins
