How To Play Formula D Solo?

Set up the track, your car, and all normal race components as usual

Choose one opponent car to act as the AI rival

Give the AI car a starting position and use its normal gear and movement rules as a baseline

Decide on a simple AI behavior rule before the race starts

On the AI car’s turn, move it according to the chosen behavior rule instead of choosing manually

Use a fixed priority for AI gear changes, such as always shifting up when possible and shifting down only when required

Use a fixed priority for AI lane changes, such as taking the safest legal path or the path that keeps it fastest

If using multiple AI cars, activate them in the same order each round

Keep all normal movement, braking, damage, and corner rules for both player and AI cars

Treat collisions, overshooting, and damage exactly as in a normal game

End the race when the player finishes or when the chosen solo scenario condition is met

Use a time target, position target, or lap target as the solo win condition

If desired, add a handicap by giving the AI extra starting gear, fewer damage points, or a head start

If desired, increase difficulty by making the AI more aggressive in gear choice and corner entry

If desired, use a prewritten solo challenge or fan-made AI script for the track you are playing
