How to Polish Cement Floor?

Clear the floor of all furniture, rugs, and debris

Sweep and vacuum thoroughly

Repair cracks, holes, and damaged areas

Remove old coatings, paint, glue, or sealers

Degrease and clean the surface

Let the floor dry completely

Start grinding with a coarse diamond pad

Progress through finer diamond grits step by step

Keep the grinder moving evenly

Vacuum dust between each grit change

Fill pinholes or small imperfections if needed

Continue polishing with higher-grit pads

Apply a concrete densifier if desired

Polish until the desired sheen is reached

Clean the floor thoroughly after polishing

Apply a concrete sealer if desired

Let the floor cure before regular use
