Make sure there are no pending dues on your Jio account
Send an SMS from your Jio number: PORT
Receive the UPC code by SMS
Note the UPC validity period and port before it expires
Visit a BSNL store, BSNL customer service center, or authorized retailer
Carry the UPC code and a valid ID proof
Fill out the Mobile Number Portability request form
Submit your KYC documents and passport-size photo if required
Choose a BSNL prepaid or postpaid plan
Complete biometric verification if asked
Receive the new BSNL SIM
Wait for the porting process to complete
Keep your Jio SIM active until the porting is finished
Insert the BSNL SIM when your Jio service stops
Restart your phone and wait for BSNL network activation
Use the BSNL SIM after activation is confirmed
