Slice or crumble the chorizo, depending on the recipe
Heat a skillet over medium heat
Add the chorizo to the skillet
Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and fully cooked
Drain excess fat if needed
Use in tacos, eggs, rice, beans, pasta, or other dishes
If using fresh chorizo, cook until no longer pink and reaches a safe internal temperature
If using cured chorizo, slice and eat as is or warm briefly if desired
