Gently remove any pins, tape, or packaging
Keep the corsage in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
Mist lightly with water if the flowers are fresh, but do not soak them
Place the corsage in a sealed container or plastic bag with a slightly damp paper towel
Store it in the refrigerator, not the freezer
Avoid crushing the petals or bending the stems
If possible, lay it flat on tissue paper inside a box
Use floral preservative spray if available
Dry the corsage with silica gel for long-term preservation
Press the corsage between absorbent papers if you want a flattened keepsake
Hang or air-dry it only if the flower type is suitable
Keep it away from fruit and other ripening produce
Handle it as little as possible
Preserve it as soon as possible after use
