Locate the Learn/Program button on the Genie garage door opener motor unit
Press and release the Learn/Program button
Within 30 seconds, enter your desired PIN on the keypad
Press the Up/Down or Program/Enter key on the keypad
Wait for the opener light to flash or the door to move slightly
Test the keypad by entering the PIN and pressing the Up/Down or Enter key
If the keypad does not work, repeat the steps and ensure the keypad battery is good
If needed, clear the keypad memory before reprogramming by following the keypad reset procedure for your model
