Locate the LEARN button on the LiftMaster garage door opener motor unit
Press and release the LEARN button
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the remote you want to program
Release the remote button when the opener light flashes or you hear a click
Test the remote by pressing the programmed button
Repeat the steps for additional remotes if needed
If the remote does not work, repeat the programming steps
If necessary, clear existing remote codes from the opener before reprogramming
