Turn on the TV and the device you want to control
Insert fresh batteries into the Verizon Fios remote
Press and hold the OK and FiOS TV buttons together until the red LED blinks twice
Enter the 3-digit or 5-digit TV code for your TV brand
Press the Power button to test the TV
If the TV turns off, press OK to save the code
If the TV does not respond, repeat with a different TV code
To program the remote for a set-top box, press and hold OK and FiOS TV until the LED blinks twice
Enter the code for the device if required
Test the Volume, Power, and Input buttons
If using auto-programming, press and hold OK and FiOS TV, then follow the on-screen setup prompts
If the remote still does not work, reset the remote and try again
