Remove the valve cap
Unscrew the small top nut on the French valve a few turns
Press the valve tip briefly to release a little air if needed
Attach a pump with a Presta-compatible head
Lock the pump head onto the valve
Inflate to the recommended pressure
Remove the pump head carefully
Tighten the small top nut on the valve
Replace the valve cap
