Check that your infant car seat is compatible with the shopping cart
Place the car seat in the cart basket facing the handle
Make sure the seat sits flat and stable
Use the cart’s infant seat attachment if it has one
Secure the car seat with the cart strap if available
Keep the car seat centered in the cart
Do not place the car seat on the cart handle
Do not put the car seat on top of the cart seat area unless designed for it
Keep one hand on the car seat while moving the cart
Do not leave the car seat unattended in the cart
Follow the car seat manufacturer’s instructions
Follow the shopping cart safety guidelines
If the seat does not fit securely, use a stroller instead
