Sand the area to create a rough surface
Rinse and dry completely

Mix the enamel paint well
Apply a thin, even first coat
Let the first coat dry fully
Lightly sand between coats if needed
Apply additional thin coats until covered
Allow the final coat to cure fully
Avoid water, heat, or heavy use until cured
