Find the teams listed on the scoreboard
Read the inning columns from left to right
Check each team’s runs in each inning
Add the inning runs to get the total score
Look for hits, errors, and left on base if shown
Read the count for the current batter as balls, strikes, and outs
Check the pitcher and batter names if displayed
Note the current inning and whether it is top or bottom
Look for indicators of runners on base
Read the final score after the game ends
