Press and hold the Select and Play/Pause buttons on the Fire TV remote for about 5 seconds
Wait for the Firestick to restart
Unplug the Firestick power adapter from the wall or USB power source
Wait 10 to 30 seconds
Plug the power adapter back in
Wait for the Firestick to boot up
Go to Settings
Select My Fire TV
Select Restart
Confirm Restart if prompted
