Turn on your TV and Fire TV device
Insert fresh batteries into the new Firestick remote
Move the remote close to the Fire TV device
Press and hold the Home button for about 10 seconds
Wait for the on-screen confirmation that the remote is paired
If it does not pair, unplug the Fire TV device for 60 seconds and plug it back in
Try holding the Home button again for 10 seconds
If needed, use an already paired remote to go to Settings
Select Controllers and Bluetooth Devices
Select Amazon Fire TV Remotes
Select Add New Remote
Press and hold the Home button on the new remote until it appears on the screen
Select the new remote to finish pairing
