Check the Photos app for the “Recently Deleted” folder and open it
Select the photos you want to restore
Tap “Recover” (or “Restore”)
If the photos aren’t in “Recently Deleted,” check iCloud Photos (or Google Photos) Trash/Recycle Bin
In iCloud Photos: open Photos on iCloud.com, go to Recently Deleted, and restore
In Google Photos: open Google Photos, go to Trash, and restore
If you use another cloud service (OneDrive/Dropbox), check that service’s Photos/Trash area
Check any device backups (iPhone/iPad backups or Android backups) for a time before deletion
Restore from a backup if available and appropriate
If photos were on an SD card or external drive, stop using the device immediately
Use reliable recovery software to scan the storage for recoverable deleted files
If you have a computer backup (Windows File History/Apple Time Machine), restore the photos from the backup
Contact the service provider or support for your specific app/device if none of the above options appear
