Open QuickTime Player
Click File
Select New Screen Recording
Click the arrow next to the Record button
Choose a microphone for audio input
Click Record
Select the area of the screen to record or click anywhere to record the full screen
Perform the actions you want to capture
Click the Stop button in the menu bar when finished
Save the recording when prompted
If you need system audio, install a virtual audio driver such as BlackHole or Loopback
Open Audio MIDI Setup if needed to configure audio routing
Select the virtual audio device as the sound source before recording
Use a screen recording app that supports internal audio if preferred
Check Mac microphone permissions in System Settings if audio is not recording
Check Screen Recording permissions in System Settings if the app cannot capture the screen
