Use a remote desktop tool such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Chrome Remote Desktop, or Microsoft Remote Desktop
Install the remote access software on both computers
Create or sign in to an account if required
Enable remote access on the target computer
Set a strong password or access code
Make sure the target computer is powered on and connected to the internet
Allow the app through the firewall if prompted
Open the remote access app on your computer
Enter the target computer’s ID, code, or select it from the device list
Accept the connection on the target computer if required
Use the remote session to control the other computer
Disconnect when finished
Keep remote access software updated
Use two-factor authentication if available
