Place the cursor on the blank page
Press Ctrl+Shift+8 to show paragraph marks
Delete extra paragraph marks on the blank page
Delete any page breaks on the blank page
Delete any section breaks if present
Go to the end of the previous page and press Backspace
Reduce the font size of hidden paragraph marks if needed
Adjust spacing after the last paragraph on the previous page
Check for tables or objects forcing the blank page
Save the document and recheck the page count
