Open Chrome
Click the three dots menu
Go to Settings
Click Search engine
Set your preferred search engine
Click Manage search engines and site search
Remove Csrchdr.com from the list if present
Go to On startup
Select Open the New Tab page or your preferred option
Remove Csrchdr.com from any startup pages
Go to Appearance
Check the Home button settings
Remove Csrchdr.com from the homepage field if present
Go to Extensions
Remove any suspicious or unknown extensions
Open Chrome menu
Go to More tools
Click Extensions
Disable or remove suspicious extensions
Go to Settings
Click Reset settings
Select Restore settings to their original defaults
Confirm the reset
Close Chrome
Open Windows Settings or macOS system settings
Uninstall suspicious recently installed programs
Run a full antivirus or anti-malware scan
Restart the computer
Reopen Chrome
Check that Csrchdr.com is gone
