Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol with a cotton swab
Dab the area lightly with a clean, dry cloth
Try a correction pen or white gel pen over the highlight
Scan or photocopy the page in black and white to reduce visibility
Cover the highlight with opaque correction tape
Write or print over the highlighted text if possible
Use a specialized ink remover only on test paper first
Avoid soaking the paper to prevent damage
Test any method on a small hidden area first
