Open Settings
Tap Messages
Turn off iMessage
Go back to Settings
Tap FaceTime
Turn off FaceTime if desired
Go to Settings
Tap your Apple ID name
Tap Sign Out if you want to remove the Apple ID from the iPad
Remove the phone number from Messages at appleid.apple.com if needed
Delete the Messages app only if your iPad supports removing it
Restart the iPad if needed
