Open the app that contains the deleted items
Go to the Trash, Recently Deleted, or Bin folder
Tap Select
Choose the items you want to remove
Tap Delete All or Delete
Confirm the deletion if prompted
If using the Files app, open Browse
Tap Recently Deleted
Tap Select
Tap Delete All or delete selected files
If using Photos, open Albums
Tap Recently Deleted
Tap Select
Tap Delete All or delete selected photos
If using Mail, open the mailbox
Tap Trash
Tap Edit
Tap Delete All
Confirm the deletion if prompted
