Freeze the garment in a sealed plastic bag for 1 to 2 hours
Place cardboard or paper towels under the tag
Cover the tag with a thick cloth
Use pliers to gently crush the plastic casing
Pull apart the tag slowly
Absorb any leaked ink immediately with paper towels
Dab the stain with rubbing alcohol using a clean cloth
Blot from the outside of the stain inward
Rinse the area with cold water
Apply liquid laundry detergent to the stain
Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Wash the clothing according to the care label
Air dry the garment
Repeat the stain treatment if needed
Do not use heat until the stain is completely gone
