Cut off any excess plastic around the edges
Peel back a corner of the laminate with a sharp blade or craft knife
Gently separate the plastic layer from the paper
Use a hair dryer or heat gun on low to soften the adhesive
Slowly lift the laminate while applying steady heat
Stop if the paper starts tearing or curling
Place the paper between two sheets of plain paper and press it flat under a heavy book
If residue remains, lightly rub with a soft eraser or adhesive remover on a cotton swab
Test any heat or solvent on a small corner first
Work slowly to reduce damage to the paper
