How to Remove Links from a Watch Band?

Gather a small screwdriver or link removal tool, a pin pusher, a soft cloth, and a tray for small parts

Lay the watch face down on a soft cloth

Locate the arrows or pins on the inside of the band links

Identify which links need to be removed from both sides of the clasp for balance

Use the tool to push the pin out in the direction of the arrows

Remove the pin completely from the link

Take out the desired number of links

Reconnect the band by aligning the remaining links

Insert the pin back into the hole opposite the arrow direction

Press the pin in until it is flush and secure

Check that the band closes properly and fits comfortably

Repeat if more links need to be removed
