How to Take Links Out of Watch Band?

Gather a small pin pusher, spring bar tool, or paperclip, a hammer, and a soft cloth

Lay the watch band flat on the cloth

Locate the removable links and the arrows or pins on the inside of the band

Identify which links need to be removed from each side of the clasp to keep the watch centered

Position the band so the arrows point downward

Push the pin out in the direction of the arrows

Use the tool and gently tap the pin until it slides out

Remove the pin completely

Take out the desired number of links

Align the remaining links

Reinsert the pin in the opposite direction of the arrows

Tap the pin back in until it is flush

Repeat on the other side if needed

Check the fit on your wrist

Adjust again if necessary
