Turn off the printer and unplug it
Open the scanner unit and ink tank cover
Remove any visible dried ink with a lint-free cloth
Use a cotton swab lightly dampened with distilled water to clean ink residue
Wipe the printhead area gently without touching electrical parts
Clean the capping station and surrounding area carefully
Clean the paper feed rollers with a soft, slightly damp cloth
Remove and clean the ink tank caps and surrounding openings
Check for ink buildup in the maintenance box area
Let all cleaned parts dry completely before closing the printer
Plug the printer back in and run a nozzle check
Run a printhead cleaning cycle if needed
Repeat cleaning only as necessary to avoid damage
