Mix mild dish soap with cold water
Dampen a cloth with the solution and blot the stain
Use a clean damp cloth to remove soap residue
Sprinkle baking soda over the area
Let it sit for several hours
Vacuum up the baking soda
For urine stains, blot with vinegar and water first
For blood stains, use cold water only
For sweat stains, use hydrogen peroxide sparingly
For odor, apply baking soda generously
Let the mattress air dry completely
Use a fan or open windows to speed drying
