Wash the silver with warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap
Rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a soft microfiber cloth
Line a bowl or sink with aluminum foil, shiny side up
Place the silver on the foil
Add baking soda and salt
Pour in hot water until the silver is covered
Let it sit for a few minutes
Remove the silver and rinse with clean water
Dry and buff with a soft cloth
Use a silver polishing cloth for light tarnish
Apply a small amount of silver polish with a soft cloth for heavier tarnish
Rub gently in straight motions
Rinse off polish if needed
Dry completely to prevent water spots
Store silver in a dry, airtight container or anti-tarnish bag
Keep silver away from rubber, humidity, and harsh chemicals
