How To Replace Outdoor Faucet?

Turn off the water supply to the outdoor faucet

Open the faucet to drain any remaining water

Disconnect the hose and remove any attached fittings

Remove the mounting screws or fasteners

Cut or disconnect the water line inside the wall or basement

Remove the old faucet from the exterior wall

Measure the old faucet and select a matching replacement

Apply plumber’s tape or sealant to threaded connections if needed

Insert the new faucet into the wall opening

Reconnect the water line securely

Fasten the faucet to the wall with screws or brackets

Turn the water supply back on
