Obtain required permits from your local building department
Hire a licensed electrician for the service installation
Verify the mobile home service requirements and local code requirements
Determine the correct service size and panel rating
Install a weatherhead or approved service mast if required
Mount the meter base at the required height and location
Install the main disconnect and electrical panel
Run properly sized service conductors from the pole or utility point to the meter base
Install conduit, cable, or overhead service equipment as required by code
Set the grounding electrode system
Bond the electrical system correctly
Connect the feeder from the meter/disconnect to the mobile home disconnect
Use approved mobile home feeder cable or conductors
Maintain required clearances for overhead lines
Inspect all work through the local authority having jurisdiction
Have the utility company make the final connection and energize the service
Test the system after approval and energization
