Open the Google Doc
Make your changes
Wait for Google Docs to save automatically
Check the status near the top for “Saving…” or “Saved to Drive”
To save a copy, go to File
Select Download
Choose a file format such as .docx, .pdf, or .txt
To save a local copy, choose File
Select Make a copy
Rename the copy if needed
Click OK
To save offline, enable offline access in Google Drive settings
Ensure your changes sync when you reconnect to the internet
