Open Google Maps
Search for the place, route, or area you want to save
Tap the place name or address
Tap Save
Choose a list or create a new one
To save a map area offline, tap your profile picture
Tap Offline maps
Tap Select your own map
Adjust the area
Tap Download
To save a route, search for directions
Tap the route
Use the share or save option if available
To save a location on mobile, tap the place and select Save
To access saved places, tap Saved
To remove a saved item, open Saved and tap the item
To update offline maps, open Offline maps and refresh them
