Open the Google Maps app on your phone
Make sure you are signed in to your Google account
Search for the place or area you want to download
Tap the place name or address at the bottom
Tap the three-dot menu or More option
Select Download offline map
Adjust the area if needed
Tap Download
Wait for the map to finish downloading
Open Google Maps offline when you need to use the saved map
