Google Docs saves automatically as you type
Make sure you are connected to the internet
Wait for the “Saving…” status to change to “Saved to Drive”
To keep a copy on your device, go to File > Download
Choose a format such as Microsoft Word, PDF, or plain text
To save a copy in Google Drive, use File > Make a copy
To rename the document, click the title at the top and type a new name
To move the document, click the folder icon next to the title
To save offline, enable offline access in Google Drive settings
