Press Windows + G to open Xbox Game Bar
Click the Capture widget
Click the Record button or press Windows + Alt + R
Press Windows + Alt + R again to stop recording
Find the video in Videos > Captures
Open the Snipping Tool if you need screen recording on supported Windows versions
Select the Record option
Drag to select the area to record
Click Start to begin recording
Click Stop to finish and save the file
Install OBS Studio if you want advanced recording options
Open OBS Studio
Add a Display Capture or Window Capture source
Click Start Recording
Click Stop Recording when finished
Use Dell SupportAssist or Dell-provided software if your model includes recording tools
Check the app list for any preinstalled screen recording feature
Open the tool and follow its record controls
Use Microsoft PowerPoint if you need a simple built-in option
Open PowerPoint
Go to Insert
Select Screen Recording
Choose the area and click Record
Stop the recording and save the file
