Press PrtScn to copy the full screen to the clipboard
Press Alt + PrtScn to copy the active window to the clipboard
Press Windows + PrtScn to save the full screen as a file
Press Windows + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool and select part of the screen
Open Paint or another image editor and paste with Ctrl + V if using the clipboard
Save the screenshot file from the editor if needed
Use the Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch app for more capture options
On some laptops, press Fn + PrtScn if PrtScn is assigned to a function key
